The Cognit AI Summit 2026 took place in Dubai on 25 September 2026. More than 150 CxOs, board members, VPs and directors from the UAE's public and private sectors attended by invitation. The format was executive: the business implications of AI, and how an organization moves from individual use cases to adoption at scale.
At the centre of the day was Cortex, an end-to-end enterprise AI platform. The world's best models in one subscription. One wallet, pay as you go. Integration with the company's own tools and knowledge base. Agentic capabilities and digital employees. Full branding and customization. All of it secure and governed.
Alaa Dalghan, Founder and CEO of Cognit DX, led the unveiling, demonstrated the platform and set out the company's vision: AI that is accessible and operational at enterprise level. Cortex is built around the wider enterprise, not as a standalone tool. Its uses are operational efficiency, better decisions, and new room for innovation and growth.
The launch of Cortex marks an important milestone in Cognit DX's journey to develop advanced AI solutions from the UAE that address the evolving needs of organisations. Our ambition is to help organisations move from AI experimentation to practical, large-scale adoption, while contributing to the development of local technology capabilities that can grow, scale and compete in global markets.
The summit also introduced Cognit AI Studio, which takes the company's AI work into the creative industry: films, commercials, series and digital avatars produced with generative AI. As part of the launch, Cognit DX premiered a short film produced entirely with AI.
Cognit AI Studio extends this vision into the creative industry, where we see significant potential for AI to transform filmmaking and content production. We want to explore what becomes possible when emerging technology and creative capabilities come together.
Cognit DX also showed its work on AI agents that take an active part in tasks and business processes, rather than only answering prompts. Hani Khalaf, Chief Technology Officer at Dell Technologies, delivered the keynote. Presentations covered enterprise AI, agentic AI and the growing role of generative technologies in the economy.
For Cognit DX the two launches are part of one strategy: build AI capability and intellectual property in the UAE, with applications worldwide.
Cognit DX believes that the UAE and the region must be tech-producers, and not merely tech consumers. Today we are acting on this belief with purpose and intent.
