The challenge
Emirates Nuclear Energy Company wanted internal AI champions who could find, build and scale use cases, not a cohort who had heard about AI.
What we did
- A one-hour interview with every participant before the program, and a baseline grade to measure progress against.
- Ten days of training, three hours of instruction and three hours of building each day: Python and machine learning in week one, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, LangChain and LangGraph in week two.
- Five projects from ENEC leadership's priority list, built by teams of three over a project day and a two-week sprint, then presented on site to senior directors.
What changed
- Fifteen engineers who can build AI solutions for their own organization.
- Five working, business-relevant AI projects ready for internal incubation.
- Senior directors stated their intention to sponsor the projects for further development.
