Privacy policy.

Cognit DX is an enterprise AI company in the United Arab Emirates. We decide how and why the personal data described here is processed, which makes us its controller under the PDPL.

• When you use the contact form: your name, work email, organization, role, the area you are interested in, your organization's size and your message.
• When you email us: your email address, your message and anything you attach.
• When you visit the site: technical data such as your IP address, browser, device type, the pages you request and when. Our hosting provider processes it to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, such as health, religious or biometric data. Please do not include it in your message.

The site sets no cookies of its own. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not follow you across other websites.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from automated abuse. It is not used to identify you or to market to you.

• To read your enquiry, route it to the right team and reply.
• To understand whether and how we can help your organization, and to take the steps you ask for before any agreement.
• To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
• To run, secure and fix the site, and to block spam and abuse.
• To meet our legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We send news or marketing only if you ask for it, and every message lets you opt out. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

We process your data with your consent, which you give when you submit the form or write to us, or where the PDPL allows processing without consent: to perform a contract with you or take steps you ask for before one, to comply with UAE law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.

We share personal data only with:

• Service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions: Cloudflare, which hosts the site, stores form submissions and streams the site's video; FormSubmit, which delivers form submissions to our inbox; and our email and business software providers, including our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Professional advisers, such as lawyers and auditors, who are bound by confidentiality.
• Courts, regulators and other authorities, where UAE law requires it.
• A buyer or successor, if Cognit DX is reorganized, merged or sold, under the same protections.

Some of our providers process data outside the UAE. We transfer personal data abroad only as the PDPL permits: to countries with adequate data protection, or under contractual and other safeguards that protect it to the standard this policy describes.

We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as we need them to answer you and to manage any relationship that follows, and afterwards only as long as the law requires or allows, for example for business records. Technical logs are kept for a short period, usually days, unless we need them to investigate an incident.

When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or make it anonymous.

The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to form submissions is limited to the people who need it. We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, as the PDPL requires. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under the PDPL you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you, why we process it and who we have shared it with, and give you a copy;
• correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• erase data we no longer need or are not permitted to keep;
• restrict or stop processing, in the cases the law allows;
• send your data to you or to another controller in a structured, machine-readable format;
• stop processing based on your consent, by withdrawing it.

To make a request, write to hello@cognit-dx.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will reply as soon as we can and within any period the law sets. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

The site is meant for organizations and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data.

The site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Cognit AI Studio. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
