Terms of use.

The terms that govern your use of cognit-dx.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

About these terms

The site is operated by Cognit DX, a company in the United Arab Emirates (“Cognit DX”, “we”, “us”). These terms cover the website only. Our services, including Cortex, are provided under separate written agreements, which take precedence over anything on the site.

Using the site

You may use the site to learn about Cognit DX and to contact us. You agree not to:

  • use the site in breach of any applicable law, including the UAE's laws on cybercrime;
  • try to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers or any connected system, or test their security without our written permission;
  • interfere with the site, for example with malicious code, excessive automated requests or attempts to overload it;
  • copy or collect content or data from the site by automated means, except as search engines do to index it;
  • send false, misleading, offensive or unsolicited material through the contact form, or impersonate anyone.

We may restrict or block access to the site if we believe these terms have been broken.

Content and intellectual property

The site and its content, including text, design, graphics, photographs, video and software, and the names Cognit DX, Cortex and Cognit AI Studio and their logos, belong to Cognit DX or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view the site and print or save pages for your own reference. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially use our content or marks without our written permission.

Client names and logos belong to their owners. They appear on the site to describe work we have done and do not imply any endorsement beyond that work.

Information on the site

The site gives general information about Cognit DX and our services. It is not professional, legal, technical or investment advice, and it is not an offer capable of acceptance.

Case studies and figures describe specific engagements as reported at the time. Results depend on each organization, and past results do not guarantee future ones.

We work to keep the site accurate and current, but we may change it at any time and do not guarantee that it is complete, correct or up to date.

Enquiries

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract or oblige either side to anything. An engagement starts only when both sides sign an agreement. Our privacy policy explains how we handle the details you send.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors. We may suspend, change or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent UAE law permits, we exclude all warranties, express or implied.

To the extent UAE law permits, Cognit DX is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UAE law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
