Hands-on prompting per business cohort
The challenge
Different employee groups need different AI capabilities. One course for everyone would have been too shallow for engineers and too technical for everyone else.
What we did
- AI at Work for Everyone: demos on day one, participants prompting on their own real tasks on day two, responsible AI and a five-hour build-a-startup hackathon on day three.
- AI for Coders and Engineers: Python, machine learning, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, LangChain and LangGraph and coding agents, ending in projects chosen from Zain's own priorities.
- AI for Creatives: storytelling to final film with a specialist instructor, ending in campaign concepts for 2026.
What changed
- Business teams built complete startups with AI: plan, financial model, pitch deck, website, app and marketing assets.
- Engineering teams built internal tools, including an HR assistant that answers from policies and the knowledge base.
- A repeatable enablement model Zain has run three years in a row.
